Marcomm Works is an Alberta-based advisory firm providing strategic and organizational counsel to leaders in public-sector and mission-driven organizations as they navigate complexity, make better-informed decisions, align people and stakeholders, and turn strategic priorities into action.

Since 1996, we have worked with public-sector, non-profit, membership, mission-driven and private-sector organizations on challenges requiring thoughtful analysis, meaningful engagement and practical solutions.

Our work evolved from roots in strategic communications, research and public engagement into six interconnected practices spanning strategy, decision intelligence, stakeholder engagement, organizational transformation, innovation and responsible AI adoption.

Each engagement begins with the client’s specific challenge. We draw on the expertise required to address it clearly and effectively.

Sam Ediale

Director, Strategy & Innovation Consulting

Sam Ediale works with leaders on questions of strategy, organizational capability, transformation, innovation and execution, with particular attention to the capabilities required to translate strategic intent into sustained performance.

His background spans strategic planning, commercial leadership, business transformation, organizational consulting and executive leadership. Sam combines executive experience, applied consulting and doctoral research to support evidence-informed decision-making and help organizations navigate complex strategic and organizational challenges. He has completed IAP2 training in public participation and holds the Prosci® Change Management Certification and APQC Certified Process Manager designation.

Wade Wilson

Strategic Advisor

Wade Wilson is an experienced strategist, facilitator and communications advisor whose work spans corporate, government, regulated utility and non-profit environments.

His experience includes strategic planning, public and stakeholder engagement, strategic communications, facilitation, brand and organizational advisory work. As a senior advisor, Wade works directly with clients to understand the challenge, establish clarity and design practical approaches suited to the organization and the people it serves.

AI for Business Practice Lead

Ovo is a senior AI and data solutions architect with experience designing and delivering analytics, machine-learning and cloud solutions. His work spans data architecture, cloud modernization, MLOps and the development of applied AI solutions, including generative AI applications.

At Marcomm Works, Ovo leads our AI for Business practice, helping organizations identify practical opportunities for AI, strengthen their data foundations and move responsibly from exploration to implementation. He brings the technical depth required to connect emerging capabilities with organizational priorities, workflows and decisions.
